A little bit about us.

Here at Royal Dragons we have cared for and bred reptiles for over 5 years now, it all began when we purchased a bearded dragon from a local reptile shop and fell in love with him, we decided to get him a friend (girl) and it went from there.

Now we specialise in producing high red and orange morph bearded dragons, we have sourced reptiles from a diverse range of blood lines to develop young Bearded Dragons with vivid red, orange and yellow colours and markings. We have not singled out and bred a specific bloodline, we have selected the best examples of different bloodlines to produce what we call the Royal Red phase Bearded Dragon. Royal Reds have been produced through pairing Bearded Dragon morphs such as Sandfire, Bloods and various red/yellow/orange phase Beardies, selecting the best examples from these pairings and then working with them to produce what we now call Royal Red Beardies.

We pride ourselves on the health and well being of all the reptiles cared for and sold here, we like to ensure that all reptiles are cared for after they leave us too, so we provide an after care service with all purchases from Royal Dragons. This means that you can call or email us to ask for help or advice on your reptiles care. with no limitations on the number of queries or time after purchase.

This year we have successfully bred a group of Frilled Dragons. These are one of my favourite reptiles and from the first time I saw one it was my dream to own and care for one. Two years ago we acquired a young male Iranian Jaya and then a month or two later a female. When the female was 28 months old and large enough we paired them and one month later they laid their first clutch. We hope to make this quite rare captive bred reptile available to all hobbyists in the UK so they can appreciate this stunning reptile for themselves.
